Overview
Sajilo Lumbini is a hackathon-built civic service platform with a citizen mobile app, FastAPI backend, SQLAlchemy/Pydantic models, JWT authentication, Alembic migrations, PostgreSQL/SQLite configuration, role-based access, provider/admin workflows, activity and notification systems, and service modules such as Aaja Chha, Paani Palo, Aspatal Aaja, Ek Choti, Kaam Ko Din, Sahayata Patra, and Khad Nyaya.
Problem
Citizens often need to know whether a service is available, what documents are required, when to visit, and how a request progresses across offices/providers.
Solution
Build a mobile-first platform that maps multiple public-service workflows onto shared engines for availability, tokens, checklists, requests, notifications, identity/evidence, provider operations, and eligibility guidance.
Engineering Highlights
- Expo/React Native TypeScript mobile app with file-based app routes, hooks, typed APIs, auth token storage, forms, dashboards, and module screens.
- FastAPI backend with SQLAlchemy/Pydantic schemas, JWT auth, Alembic migrations, tests, role/permission checks, notifications, provider/admin operations, and service routers.
- Public-service modules include Aaja Chha, Paani Palo, Aspatal Aaja, Ek Choti, Kaam Ko Din, Sahayata Patra, and Khad Nyaya.
- Repository includes `ai_service.py`, matching/fraud/evidence/identity services, and guidance/eligibility text; portfolio wording avoids unverified RAG/embedding/model claims.

Ownership / Context
Sajilo Lumbini is presented as a hackathon project with The Dobermans / LumbiniX. The portfolio describes repository-verified architecture and product scope without implying sole ownership of team work.
Verification Notes
- Intelligent guidance is described conservatively because no current-source evidence of RAG/embeddings was verified.
